Terms of Service

1. Scope of Services & Healthcare Disclaimer

• Facilitator, Not a Clinic: UCSmile connects international patients with verified, licensed dental clinics in Da Nang, Vietnam. We are not a healthcare provider and do not practice dentistry or offer medical advice.
• Independent Responsibility: All medical assessments, treatments, and post-operative care are the sole responsibility of the independent partner clinics and their licensed practitioners.

2. Booking & Appointments

Booking requests do not guarantee immediate confirmation. We will review inquiries and contact you within one (1) business day to confirm scheduling based on clinic availability.

3. Pricing & Payments

• Free Matching: Our clinic matching and coordination services are 100% free. We charge no booking deposits or markups on treatment prices.
• Clinic Payments: All dental treatments are billed and paid directly to the partner clinic under their payment terms. UCSmile does not handle clinical funds.
• Commission Disclosure: To sustain our free services, UCSmile receives a referral commission from partner clinics out of their marketing budget. This adds no cost to your medical bill.
• Premium Concierge Services:Optional add-ons (e.g., airport pickup, translators, travel coordination) are billed and collected directly by UCSmile before service delivery.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

• Dental Appointments: We request 48 hours' notice for cancellations. Since UCSmile collects no deposit, there are no cancellation fees from us.
• Concierge Services Refunds:
  • 72+ Hours Before Service: 100% refund (minus any third-party payment gateway fees).
  • Under 72 Hours or No-Show: Non-refundable, as logistics are pre-booked and committed in advance.
  • Medical Ineligibility / Force Majeure: If a clinic deems you medically unfit for treatment upon arrival, or in cases of documented flight cancellations, we will refund the unused portion of your Concierge package minus verifiable incurred costs.
• Refund Processing: Processed via the original payment method within 7–14 business days.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate medical and personal information, comply with local laws and clinic instructions, and promptly notify us of any schedule changes.

6. Limitation of Liability

• Medical Outcomes: UCSmile is not liable for clinical outcomes, malpractice, or disputes between you and the partner clinic.
• Third-Party Services: We are not liable for issues, delays, or losses caused by third-party transport operators, airlines, or hotels.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on ucsmile.com is the intellectual property of UCSmile. Unauthorized use, reproduction, or modification is strictly prohibited.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Da Nang, Vietnam.
